Full access to the Sonify catalog: high-quality streaming and downloads, every track covered by your license.
Issue your own certificate for every gig
From your dashboard, in seconds, you generate a certificate dedicated to the specific venue and date where you will play — with venue name, city, country, event date and a publicly verifiable QR code. No manual approval, no waiting: it is fully self-service, one per gig, unlimited.
Global coverage, direct legal basis
One subscription, zero borders. Whether you are playing a club in Berlin, a festival in Miami or a private event in Tokyo, your Sonify DJ License travels with you. Because our catalog is produced entirely in-house and kept completely independent from traditional collecting societies (SIAE, GEMA, SACEM, ASCAP, PRS, SGAE or equivalents), we grant you direct public-performance rights worldwide, with no local bureaucracy. And for every single gig, you issue the venue-specific certificate yourself from your dashboard in seconds — with venue name, date and a publicly verifiable QR — so you always have a document to hand to the venue on the spot.

Why the collecting society model is obsolete
Collecting societies were built before global DJ touring. The Sonify Global DJ License is the direct buyout alternative.
The traditional model (SIAE, GEMA, SACEM, PRS…)
- Setlist reports and declarations for every single gig.
- Recurring royalties and opaque distributions you cannot audit.
- Territory-only coverage: every country needs a separate permit.
- No instant proof of compliance to hand to the venue manager.
The Sonify model: a direct global license
- One personal license, valid anywhere in the world.
- Zero CMO royalties — the catalog is registered with no society.
- Per-gig certificate you issue yourself in seconds.
- Public QR verification, no login and no waiting.
Global DJ License vs traditional collecting societies
Why touring international DJs are switching from local bureaucracies (SIAE, GEMA, ASCAP, PRS, etc.) to Sonify.
| Sonify DJ License | Traditional Local Licensing (SIAE, GEMA, ASCAP, PRS…) | |
|---|---|---|
| What it covers | Entire Sonify catalog, any venue/event, no local filing | Only the local society's repertoire, tied to the specific declared venue |
| Geographic scope | Worldwide — one license, every country | Restricted to a single country / requires multiple local permits when touring |
| Activation time | Instant — certificate in seconds | Days of bureaucratic paperwork, per country |
| Cost | From €29.90/month, unlimited flat rate | Variable per-gig cost + collecting-society fees |
| Collecting-society royalties | None — catalog never registered with any CMO | Mandatory local fees per event / venue reports |

Why choose Sonify buyout music over a non-exclusive licence on a marketplace like AudioJungle or a subscription library: here is the head-to-head on rights, costs and ownership.
| Feature | Sonify Music (buyout) | AudioJungle-style marketplace | Subscription library |
|---|---|---|---|
| Type of rights | Full copyright transfer (master + composition) | Non-exclusive licence, the track stays owned by others | Usage licence valid only while you pay |
| Payment model | One-off purchase: €29.90 once | Pay per licence, often once per project | Monthly or yearly fee, forever |
| Royalties and future fees | No royalties, no renewals, no expiry | Extra fees for extended or broadcast use | Rights revoked the moment you cancel |
| Exclusivity | The track is pulled from the catalogue — it is only yours | The same track is sold to thousands of buyers | Shared with every other subscriber |
| Takedown risk | None: you are the rights holder | Tracks can disappear or change licence terms | Catalogues rotate and tracks get removed |
| Ownership certificate | Named, verifiable full-buyout certificate | Licence receipt only | No ownership certificate |
| 3-year cost (continuous use) | €29.90 total | One licence per project, cumulative cost | Hundreds of euros, and no asset at the end |
Sonify Music is built as an AudioJungle alternative for people who want to own their music, not rent it.
Global DJ License FAQ
Do I still need to show something to the venue?+
Yes: from your dashboard you generate a certificate specific to that gig, with venue name, date and QR. The venue manager can scan it and verify authenticity in real time.
What if I play multiple venues in the same week?+
No limits: you can generate an unlimited number of certificates, one per gig/venue, for the entire subscription lifetime.
Does the venue manager need to do anything?+
No. The certificate you present proves that the music you play is covered by a direct license with Sonify. They can keep a copy if they wish.
Does the license work outside Italy?+
Yes, worldwide. The Sonify catalog is not registered with any collecting society in any country, so the direct license is valid everywhere.
What about Germany, Austria, Switzerland?+
For the DACH area (GEMA, AKM, SUISA) the system automatically generates a reinforced certificate variant, with an explicit statement that the Sonify catalog is not registered with those societies. No manual choice — the logic is automatic.
Is the Sonify catalog really fully covered?+
Yes, every track in the catalog is produced in-house by Sonify or acquired with full rights assignment. No track is registered with SIAE, GEMA, ASCAP, PRS or equivalents.
Is the Global DJ License an alternative to collecting societies (SIAE, GEMA, PRS)?+
Yes. The Sonify catalog is not registered with SIAE, GEMA, PRS or any other CMO: public performance rights are granted to you directly by Sonify on a buyout basis, for every venue and every country, with no recurring royalties.
