    Loop-Ready Asset

A loop-ready asset is a piece of music edited so that its end joins its beginning with no audible seam, gap or level jump. It is the format required wherever music must play continuously without a fixed duration: retail spaces, exhibition stands, kiosks, apps, games and hold systems.

    In practice

Making a track loop cleanly is an editing job, not a file setting. It requires matching the tempo grid at the join, carrying reverb tails across the loop point, and removing the intro build and final resolution that make a linear track sound obviously restarted. Store playlists that betray their loop every ninety seconds are a common cause of staff fatigue and customer irritation. Game and app audio go further, splitting music into loopable beds with separately triggered layers.

    How SoniBuyout® handles it

Because a buyout track is yours, you can cut, extend and loop it as you need — including producing venue-specific loops of different lengths — with no clause limiting derivative edits and no per-location licence for playing it.

    Real questions

Can any track be made loop-ready?

Most can, but tracks with a distinctive intro or a resolving ending need real editing. Music written with a steady core section loops most convincingly.

Do I need a special licence to loop music in a shop?

Public playback in a business normally requires a commercial licence and, for registered repertoire, society payments. Owning unregistered music removes both obligations.
